Welded T-shaped steel: Made of tailor-welded steel strips, there are two welding processes. High-frequency welding is often used for plate thicknesses within 10MM, and submerged arc welding is generally used for plates above 10MM. Welded T-shaped steel is mainly used in electric power, curtain wall decoration, steel structure, shipbuilding, railway and other industries.
Special-shaped steel: Special-shaped steel is the abbreviation of complex and special-shaped section steel. It is a kind of section steel and is different from the name of simple section steel. According to different processes, it can be divided into hot-rolled special-shaped steel, cold-drawn (cold-drawn) special-shaped steel, cold-formed special-shaped steel, welded special-shaped steel, etc. Usually special-shaped steel refers specifically to hot-rolled special-shaped steel. Hot-rolled special-shaped steel is divided into square steel, round steel, flat steel and hot-rolled steel in common shapes.
Wire rod is a rolled steel bar commonly used on construction sites, with diameters of 6, 8, 10, and 12 millimeters. It is mostly made of low carbon steel and is not commonly used as the main reinforcement in reinforced concrete structures. It is mostly used to make steel sleeves, and small diameters are used for "brick reinforcement" in brick concrete structures.
Stainless steel rebar is the most expensive reinforcing bar available, about eight times the price of epoxy-coated rebar. It is also the best rebar available for most projects. It is more resistant to damage than any of the other corrosive-resistant or corrosive-proof types or rebar; and it can be bent in the field.
A615 steel rebar has a rough, blue-grey finish with raised ribs throughout the bar. Designed for use in concrete reinforcement, rebar increases the tensile strength of concrete structures. ASTM A615 is the standard specification for deformed and plain carbon steel bars for concrete reinforcement.
